Hey all! You may have noticed the distinct lack of a blog post this week! Originally, I was simply planning on taking a short break so that I could visit all of my dads for father’s day, but this morning brings with it some absolutely incredible news that I just had to share!
This morning, Laura Kate Dale announced her third book, Gender Euphoria: Stories of Joy. It will feature essays from a small collection of trans, nonbinary and intersex writers as they share with the world their happiest moments where they felt truly at home in their chosen gender identity.
As you may have already guessed, I am incredibly excited about this project. I feel that it is a wonderful opportunity for trans writers to tell the world that dysphoria is not the only part of being trans that matters, and that our chosen identities truly do make us happy.
I’ll be contributing an essay of my own, and I am absolutely bursting with excitement. It’s something I’m incredibly passionate about, and this is my chance to share with you all the happiest day of my life.
